Bradley Short is the President and CEO of Advanced Scientific Concepts, LLC. Bradley has over 30 years of experience developing laser and optical systems for space, defense, automotive, telecommunications and medical products. During the past 15 years Bradley has developed Flash LIDAR systems for autonomous vehicle navigation target tracking, and spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control systems. He holds over 11 patents and has been awarded over 20 Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grants. In 2013 Bradley co-founded the ASC Automotive Research (ASCar) business to further the development of Flash LIDAR for autonomous vehicles. ASCar has since been acquired by Continental AG and is developing an automotive grade Flash LIDAR.

Bradley received his M.S. in Physics from California State University at Long Beach and his B.S. in Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
