Dr. Juliette Costa is the Director of Program Management at ASC. She has 20 years of experience in the defense and aerospace industry developing novel technologies for a range of applications including chemical warfare defense, explosives detection, space-based environmental monitoring, pilotage for rotary wing aircraft in brownout conditions, threat detection for airborne and ground systems, and enhanced missile guidance systems. She spent the first 11 years of her career at MIT Lincoln Lab primarily developing low SWaPC hyperspectral imaging systems for a range of applications across multiple platforms. She led the digital-in-pixel focal plane array (FPA) product portfolio at Raytheon Vision Systems, as a Systems Engineer, Product Area Chief Engineer, and Program Manager. She established a Program Management Organization at a DNA sequencing startup company as the Senior Director of Program Management, and she currently serves as the Director of Program Management, leading LiDAR development and production programs at ASC.
Juliette has a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from U.C. Berkeley where she developed novel techniques in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from U.C. Davis.
