Global shutter flash LIDAR (Gsf-LIDAR) is the optimal real-time 3D imaging and ranging camera choice for optical navigation, mapping, and situational awareness applications. Gsf-LIDAR is a genuine solid-state, non-scanning, time-of-flight (ToF) technology, offering a unique advantage by generating high-quality, organized point clouds free of motion-induced distortion. Each data point inherently holds four-dimensional information, including relative azimuth angle, relative elevation angle, distance, and intensity values. These attributes are continually updated at the end of each frame period.  A key gsf-LIDAR feature is its range gating capability, enabling the sensor to effectively capture images and range measurements of objects even when obscured by challenging factors such as dust, fog, rain, or snow. Additionally, gsf-LIDAR cameras are distinguished by their compact and lightweight design, making them exceptionally versatile and applicable across a broad spectrum of environments, including space, airborne, terrestrial, and marine settings.

Services

ASC offers an innovative service known as Flash LIDAR Digital Twin Prototyping. We've created a digital twin simulator for flash LIDAR technology that relies on physics and incorporates machine learning and deep learning features. Our new service allows customers to virtually prototype their flash LIDAR setups, optimizing them for maximum target detection probability and assessing the performance of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
